Server logs

Our host records your IP address, the page requested, the time, the referring page, and your browser and operating system.

Delivering the site and keeping it secure.

Art. 6 (1) (f) — our legitimate interest in a working, secure site.

Retention

Short-term, by the host, for those purposes only.

Recipient

Vercel Inc., our processor under Art. 28. Transfers outside the EU rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses; ask us for a copy.

Measurement

We count page views and measure how quickly pages load, using Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. Neither sets a cookie, reads anything already stored on your device, or follows you to any other website. A visit is counted against a hash that Vercel derives from the request and re-salts every day, so the count cannot be tied back to you and no profile is built.

Aggregate figures only, kept by Vercel for a limited period.

If you email us

We use your message and contact details to reply — Art. 6 (1) (f), or Art. 6 (1) (b) where the enquiry concerns a contract — and delete them once the matter is closed and any statutory retention period has run. Reports of impersonation may be passed to law enforcement, registrars and hosting providers in order to get fraudulent content removed.

Your rights

Access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18) and portability (Art. 20): privacy@opencanopy.dev. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority.

Your right to object

Everything above rests on our legitimate interests. You may object to that processing at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21). We will then stop, unless we can show compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.
